

GED/Fast Track GED |
GED and Fast Track GED Classes consist of accelerated instruction designed to prepare adults whose goal is to acquire a GED Certificate. Instruction focuses on the five subjects measured by the GED test: Language Arts - Writing, Reading, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Qualified adult learners have several options to prepare for the GED: Classroom-based instruction, On-line Instruction, & small group Fast Track Classes. Single subject classes are also available to prepare adult learners for retesting in specific subjects. |
ABE |
Adult Basic Education (ABE) Classes consist of instruction that provides basic skills for adults who are performing below the ninth grade level in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and othe basic skills. ESOL |
English as a Second Language (ESOL) Classes consist of instruction designed to increase the English proficiency of limited English-speaking (LEP) adults in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Many programs also include civics related instructional activities such as health, family, and financial literacy. |
NEDP |
National External Diploma Program (NEDP) provides a unique way for adults to earn a high school diploma. The program allows adults to demonstrate their high school level skills by applying their life experiences in real-life situations. NEDP awards a traditional high school diploma to adults who have acquired many of their high school level abilities through work, family and community experiences. NEDP is not a traditional instruction program. Instead, it provides the opportunity for participants to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. Completing the program takes an average of six (6) months. Your skill level and the amount of time you can devote to the program determines the length of time required. FREE student assessment at intake to enroll in class. $30.00 non-refundable fee for re-assessment after 90 days of absence during the program year. |
